This is a corded Makita Model 6404 3/8” variable speed reversing drill. The drill has a notch on top so you can hang it off your pocket. What is especially nice about this drill, is that you can control the max RPM from a rotary knob on the trigger switch. Instead of trying to control the max drill speed by keeping a steady pressure on the trigger switch, you can adjust the speed knob for the max setting you want and squeeze; RPM stays the same (wish they all did that)! The drill operates very well forward or reverse. Unfortunately, I loaned it to a “friend” who used it to mix paint and didn’t find it necessary to clean off the splashed on paint. By the time I got my drill back the paint had hardened. Grrr
