We are currently searching for a Field Service Gaming Technician I to join our team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position will work closely with our sales team and supporting our client locations. This team member will prep, install, troubleshoot to the component/circuit level, collect, service, maintain, upgrade VGT system and equipment, and document all services rendered in client service logs and other software as needed. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding driving record, strong analytical skills, leadership skills, and exquisite communication skills. Currently licensed armed security guards (PA Act 235 Certified Agents) are encouraged to apply.
Set-up game options and test various devices, e.g. bill acceptors and ticket printers
Perform software and system integration verification tests for jackpots.
Perform all prep tests including assurance hardware, firmware, and system interfaces.
Install and maintain fiber-optic line and WAP telephone lines.
Troubleshoot with input and output tests.
Test pay table, reel strip, and bonus awards.
Deliver and install all replacement parts.
Adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.
Conduct collections on video gaming and redemption terminals.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
High school diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electronics, electro-mechanical, telecom or computer equipment required preferable with VGT equipment and gaming system products.
Up to 2 years of project or team lead experience preferred.
Experience in setting up computer networks and A+ Certification, N+ Certification or similar is preferred.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN:
Tools and experience using tools are required.
Reading and translating wiring diagrams.
Maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting to the component/circuit level.
Testing programs with verification devices such as Kobetron.
This position also requires the ability to lift 75 lbs, ability to travel, willingness to work varied shifts and overtime as required, pass the PennDot check and have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record, and be able to obtain the necessary state, local gaming license(s). Must also be able to pass security background checks and pass for-cause drug tests.
