“I’m ready, are you ready? Come join me! I can’t wait for you to teach me new things, especially if treats are involved. I already know sit, paw and down, and I’m potty trained!! I also walk well on a leash when there are no 4-legged distractions. But I heard there are so many more things I can learn, from the calm way to meet new people (I love meeting new people), to ignoring dogs when on a walk, and maybe even some cool tricks. Clicker training anyone? Maybe the rescue will even sponsor us taking classes together! (WE WILL!)
When I’m not learning, or doing zoomies in the yard, I love toys, all sorts of toys! Long ropes for a game of tug-a-war, Kong’s to get the treats you think you are hiding in them, and squeaky toys -we’ll just because they squeak! Then when I’m all worn out, if you’re so inclined neck and chest scratches would be nice along with a few belly rubs.”
Max is a 1 year old 65lb handsome hunk. Since he still has some puppy antics, he’s not quite ready for a home with small kids. We’re not sure about other animals, so staying in a separate area of a house where he doesn’t see any resident pets would be best, at least for a couple of weeks.
Contact us for more information on Max today, who is available for foster or adoption!
