This is a drum instructional DVD directed and performed by Brain for Drum Workshop. This DVD is in its original SEALED package. It was never opened. This DVD would make a great gift for an aspiring or professional drummer!
Bryan Kei Mantia, better known by his stage name Brain, is an American contemporary rock drummer and composer. He has also done session work for numerous artists and bands.
Brain has made the worst, or possibly the best drum instructional DVD ever. The feature-packed DVD includes various skits, educational segments and a host of special features. This is a laugh-out-loud funny and inspiring DVD for drummers of all ages and skill levels. There are clips of Brain giving instruction to budding drummers at a school, and it's clear that not only does he know his stuff, but he's a great teacher as well. Other moments to look for are Brain buying a drum kit from a guy's garage. His transportation of it afterwards is classic, if confusing, which includes a completely random limo ride full of unlikeable people, and DJ Hot Dog helping out in the studio.
If you're into drums you'll love this DVD. If you're into random thoughts set to music, you'll love this DVD. BRAIN is very into making people understand that the 2 and 4 basic rock beat is all you need. He goes into great detail about his drum sets.
