Harvest Seasonal Grill is hiring an experienced Sous Chef to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen and wants to grow with a restaurant focused on seasonal, farm-to-table dining.
What Youll Do
Support the Chef with daily kitchen operations and service execution
Lead and supervise back-of-house staff during shifts
Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and coach kitchen team members
Cook on the line as needed while maintaining food quality, consistency, and timing
Help develop specials and contribute to seasonal menu planning
Ensure recipes, portioning, and presentation standards are followed
Monitor food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and proper food handling
Assist with prep planning, inventory, ordering, and product rotation
Help manage labor, food waste, and kitchen efficiency
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team, servers, bartenders, managers, and support staff
Assist with opening, closing, prep, cleaning, and general side work
Support menu rollouts, seasonal changes, and staff education
Step in to resolve service issues and keep operations running smoothly
What Theyre Looking For
Experienced Sous Chef or strong kitchen leader
Able to perform well in a high-standards, fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
Passion for seasonal food and quality-driven execution
Comfortable handling both line work and supervisory responsibilities
