Photo – Camp Davis, North Carolina
Camp Davis was an anti-aircraft training outpost in Onslow County (near Holly Ridge) that operated from 1941-1944.
Housed about 20,000 soldiers during WWII.
Played a crucial role in developing people and technology to defend US from aerial attacks.
Training ground for women pilots, known as WASPs.
There is a small tear in the border on the left side and numerous creases, but overall, a nice picture.
