Two German made HP .61 model gasoline engines with propellers and original mufflers. Both are in very good physical. The one has decent compression and turns smoothly. The other has weaker compression but turns smoothly. Both have original mufflers which appear to be in like new condition. I do not have the equipment to try starting so they are sold as is. Likely the one should work fine while the other can be repaired or for parts. My guess is the seals might need to be replaced on the one. While the same make and model, the two engines are slightly different. See the photos.
In 1990, RJL Industries obtained the HP Model Engine product line as well as the HP name and HP logo used in the hobby industry as trademarks in an agreement with Hirtenberger AG, Austria. HP model engines are no longer associated with Hirtenberger Patronen munitions company, Austria. Hirtenberger is quite a historic company and is still a leader in Munitions production in Austria.
The HP .61 engines were revolutionary in their time and remain a highly sought after model engine. The mufflers are worth the asking price. $100.00 for both engines and mufflers.
