This is a rope bed rail from my current rope bed. This rail is of dark wood and I bought them the same time as I bought my 1860’s bed obviously used. They didn’t make queen size beds back then so they took the largest rails and made my bed queen size. This rail is very heavy and was hung with Molly bolts. 3 of the pegs have been taken out to hang this rail/shelf and replaced with the screws to hang it. I couldn’t tell you how much it weighs cuz I’m not Superman The pics will reflect the rail that I have currently hanging, the rail I want to sell and the bottom of my rope bed as it is. Nothing has been done to the rail up for sale and is the color of the rail now. I use it as a shelf in my kitchen. (It’s sitting on a trunk up for sale as well)
Comes from a smoke-free home.
