I have for sale an antique trinket box. It is carved from cow bone, or possibly some other kind of bone or similar substance, and is done with a very attractive cross hatch design. It measures 2 1/2" long, 1 5/8" wide, and 1 1/4" high. I've owned it for almost 50 years, and bought it at the Reninger's Antique Market in Adamstown, PA. I've been retired now for 12 years, and am selling off some antiques and things I've collected.
