I am a Doctor of Optometry and opened up my practice at Boscov's Optical in Camp Hill. I am providing Annual Comprehensive eye examination and Contact Lens examination at this location. I am also trained to diagnose and treat other eye conditions.
If you haven't had an eye examination recently, I highly encourage that you get your eyes examined. Some vision problems, such as amblyopia or glaucoma, have no warning signs and can cause permament vision loss if left untreated. During an eye exam, eye doctor can detect probelms early and presecibel proper treatments to delay or prevent vision loss. One in three adults over 40 has a vision problem and are at risk of catract, glaucoma, macular degeneration or presbyopia. I also examine children over age four. Eye examinations are very important for childrent as much as they are for adults. 80% of the learning is obtained visually, and can lead to difficulties in school. If your child is experiencing any warning signs of vision problems, they may need a comprehensive eye exam from an eye doctor.
