You sound very angry. Do you scream a lot in your band?
Isn't it funny that bands that make it big, many of them anyway, do cover songs? (G'nR, PearlJam, Manson, Aerosmith, Sither, STP, and that's just who i like)

I'm sure you wouldn't admit it, but you probably sing along (under your breath of course, as to avoid looking soft) when you hear a coverband play a song you like.
There's probably a bunch of songs you like, but since someone other than the original artist is singing it, you can't let yourself enjoy the song.

I'm sorry don't like cover bands.

I'm in a band that does covers, and originals. Is that a crime too? Is it so bad to play some stuff for the crowd that might not be on your ipod?
I support original music! Really, I do. I just don't understand the severe animosity from folks like yourself. Count to ten...take a time out...calm down.

Bands that act shitty towards other bands (regardless of what music they play) usually don't do so well...usually. Good luck w/ your anger.
